About this book
Order Blocks Trading presents the order-block idea as an operational price-action method rather than proof of private bank or institutional inventory. The identification sequence is deliberately strict: choose the governing timeframe, mark relevant liquidity, identify displacement, confirm structural consequence, trace the move to its origin, check freshness, and define invalidation before considering an entry. Starting from the rectangle and searching backward for reasons is treated as confirmation bias.
Bullish and bearish blocks, liquidity before the block, quality filters, refinement and multiple entry models are developed with visual, rule-based examples. A liquidity sweep inside the block can become a local execution event only when subsequent displacement and structure provide the required confirmation. Stops, targets, position risk, reconstructed case studies and backtesting keep the method accountable to rules that existed before the outcome.
What you will learn
- Identify order blocks from context, displacement and structural consequence rather than by drawing rectangles first.
- Use liquidity and freshness as filters without claiming knowledge of hidden institutional inventory.
- Refine zones only after the governing timeframe and invalidation are clear.
- Compare entry models including confirmation and liquidity-sweep sequences inside the block.
- Backtest blocks with the same qualification and risk rules used in live analysis.
